Kimberly Steward, a native of St. Louis, inherited both a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a gift for philanthropy from her father David Steward. As the principal and founder of Kess Agency in New York City, Ms. Steward leverages her creativity as well as her connectivity and influence to make marketing and design projects truly effective. She also is the lead in structuring The Steward Foundation, the organization through which she and her family generously impact the communities around them.
In New York City, Ms. Steward’s second home, she sits on the board at The Fresh Air Fund where Kess Agency is a title sponsor. Her family is also a major contributor to Jazz at Lincoln Center. At home base In St. Louis, Ms. Steward is an underwriter for both the St. Louis Symphony and Variety Children’s Charity galas each year as well as the American Heart Association. And in a single campaign for United Way, she raised 63 million dollars. Ms. Steward also supports the St. Louis Art Museum, Forest Park Forever, Faith House, Girls Inc. and Npower.
In the future, Ms. Steward plans to continue giving and growing her philanthropic involvement while also building Kess and creative projects in the media, fashion and entertainment sectors.
